We are excited to announce that AML-TN has received a prestigious $1.6 million NSERC CREATE grant, supplemented by an additional $4.9 million in contributions from UBC, collaborators, and partners.
This support establishes AML-TN as a major training initiative in AI and machine learning, positioning UBC as the hub of a global network of 14 partner institutions, including AMII, Cambridge, MIT, Oxford, Vector, and more.
Through this funding, AML-TN will support research mobility, facilitate connections across institutions, and deliver advanced training that goes beyond traditional graduate programs. With the goal of training new leaders in ML and AI, AML-TN aims to bridge skill gaps and fuel innovation in both industry and academia.
